Mike Boyle serves on Breakthrough T1D’s International Board of Directors (IBOD) where he is the incoming Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee. He is also Development Chair for the Pacific Northwest Chapter Board. He spent most of his professional career at Microsoft, where he last served as Corporate Vice President, Finance. He previously served as President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter and on the IBOD Finance Committee and was named the Greater Northwest Chapter Volunteer of the Year in 2021. Mike’s commitment to Breakthrough T1D and the T1D Fund is personal: he has four adult children, including a son who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in 2007. He has been one of Breakthrough T1D’s top sponsors for the Beat the Bridge fundraising Walk/Run for several years. Mike graduated from Creighton University with a BSBA and a JD. He also has an LLM from Boston University.
